Judith Chinkumbi

Judith holds Advanced Company Law II(Wits University), MBA – Henley Business School(UK), Advanced Diploma in Project Management(UK), Graduate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators(UK) and Practical Accounting Diploma(SA).

Judith is a performance-driven, self-motivated and innovative individual with demonstrated ability to effectively plan, manage and execute business goals and objectives.

She has vast experience in company secretarial work in the financial services industry at a very senior level and her exposure to management consulting, fund management and the insurance industry has enabled her to be an effective results-oriented business partner, leader and team player in the workplace.

With over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Judith is currently Head of Secretariat for the AFS Insurance Group at Absa Bank.
Her portfolio consisting of 32 entities including four insurance businesses in four African countries (Mozambique, Kenya, Botswana and Zambia.) She is responsible for the 23 boards across the AFS Group.
