KRISEN PATHER
Background
Krisen has worked at an executive level in the development and mainstream communication, media, and broadcast. He joined Times Media TV as a Producer in 1997 and played a strategic role in the organisation’s growth strategy, extending the footprint for edutainment content and spearheading social behaviour change communication (SBCC) initiatives.
Through his various roles as Producer (Effect Media), Business Development Executive (Ochre Media), Divisional Head (Ochre Communications), Chief Executive (Ochre Active), and Development Executive (Ochre Moving Pictures), he has been involved in developing a range of broadcast programs, strategic integrated communication solutions, and social behaviour change campaigns.
Position
Krisen is the Head of Edutainment for Ochre Media and is one of the founding members and co-channel heads of the Good Life Network ( SA’s first health, fitness, and lifestyle channel).
Qualifications
Krisen Pather is a BSoc Sc (UCT) graduate and has completed TV Production programs at Thames Valley University and St Martin’s College (UK).
